Abby Sargent
Meet abby
Abby Sargent is a Drug Free Female PowerLifter who competes in the 132lb class. She became interested in Strength Training back in High School where she was a Track and Field Athlete. Abby has a year of serious PowerLifting, competing in the WABDL and WNPF Organizations and has accumulated numerous awards. Her most recent was at the Iron Chamber Championships where she set two PR's competing Raw @ 132lb BW, pressing 120lbs and pulling 235lb raw, respectfully! These numbers earned Abby 1st Place in Ironman and receipt of the Best Female Lifter Award.
Abbys dedication to the Sport of PowerLifting is oblivious by the amount of Iron she moves while Training at BarBenders Gym in Hermitage, Pa. as well as the motivation she provides to others, both Female and Male alike. Abbys recognition of Proper Training, Nutrition and Quality Supplementation along with her Personal Determination makes her an Asset to our Strength Community!

 Just started competing in May of 2009, setting out with of goal of wanting to bench my body weight, which I'm very close to achieving. I have increased my bench 25pds in less than a year, and set a new pr for myself at every competition I have competed in. I hope I can show women that you can lift weights without "getting bulked up" and to get some more women interested in powerlifting.
