Meet Chase

Chase McDaniel, 17 years of age, is the son of Mike & Tammy Willis (Greensburg, KY) and Sean McDaniel (Campbellsville, KY). Grandson of Colin & Marilyn McDaniel, Wanda & Bobby Hardin (Campbellsville, KY) and William & Dellena Bishop (Greensburg, KY).  He is currently a high school student at Green County High School in Greensburg,  Kentucky.

He began Powerlifting through the football program 3 years ago with his step-father, Mike Willis.  Now Chase competes on the National Level with the NASA (Natural Athlete Strength Association) and SPF (Southern Powerlifting Federation) where he is currently a 4-time Raw National High School/Teen Champion.

In 2011 he won the SPF National Championships in Gatlinburg, TN and the NASA High School National Championship in the Power Press Division at Oklahoma City, OK. He also was awarded the $600 National Championship Belt for Power Press Division.  In 2010, Chase won the NASA High School Nationals Unequipped Powerlifting and Power Press Divisions at Oklahoma City, OK and the NASA USA National Championships in Springfield, OH.

Chase currently holds a total of 19 World, American, and Kentucky State Records in the NASA and SPF organizations.  He is also currently ranked in the Top 25 of Powerliftingwatch's
All Time Mens Squat Lifter Rankings, as well as recording the highest Raw Total ever by a 16 year old (June 2011) in all organizations - 1235 pound total.

In his spare time, Chase enjoys singing Country Music.  He is the 2011 Texaco K-Country Showdown Honorable Mention and the 2011 NBC's The Voice qualifier.  Hanging out with friends and working out is what he does most of the time besides his duo-credit studies.  Chase is currently undecided on his choice of college.  He plays a major role in the Sunday Morning worship at Farmer's Chapel Church (Campbellsville, KY) where his grandfather, Colin McDaniel preaches.
